Learn: Graphic design principles with examples/uses

1. Movement
– Curved or spiral lines can be used to indicate the movement or direction of an object in design, which can create a illusion of motion or lead the eye to the elements of an image.

2. Balance
– Asymmetrical composition is used to arrange objects that are very different to achieve an overall balance in a design layout.

3. Emphasis
– The focal point is the most emphasised element of an image or layout.

4. Unity
– Using a constant colour-palette will create unity, which creates and maintains harmony in a design.
